I'm not sure when Barry & Gloria started coming to New Day Baptist church. But what an entrance, both so fashionably dressed, always holding hands, always making others laugh. But Barry's authentic Christian walk encouraged us all. He quietly asked after others, was always one of the first into church, always the first into 'zoom' events, cared, laughed, and encouraged. He was central to us starting the monthly evening 'praise & worship', where Barry's voice sang to God loudly, and moreover from his heart. His genuine faith encapsulated our short strap-line, 'God in-Love out'. And Barry's love flowed selflessly. Coupled with real-world humour that makes me smile as I type! Taken too soon, sorely missed, but a shining example and legacy to us all.

We will always miss you.
